Expendebles & 2am dims ! I think this is the first time that everyone drove their own vehicles LOL all trying to impress girlfriends or some shit pls HAHAHAHA STILL OPEN THE DOORS FOR THEM LEH WHAT IS THIS SHIT?! I asked my bf why he didn’t open the door for me and he was just like :

Spent Sat, Sun and (part of) Monday with him and it’s just such a rare treat! He works daily without a break, so even if he manages to squeeze out some time with me, it’s usually just for lunch or dinner. If we meet after his work, he’ll be asleep within 2 hours cause he’s so tired :/ ! So these 3 days have been so awesome i can’t even oaisdjfoaisjdf

SPEAKING OF RARE TREATS – WEE YOSHINOYA!!!!!!! Mad love it, and being the poor trapped soul I am that’s enslaved by the horror that is the ~low carb diet~, I can only eat like 5 spoons of rice and whack the ~liao~. Haven’t eaten this in DAMN long cause the Tampines branch closed down (WTF OKAY HOW DARE THEY ETC)! Not to mention they have the magic that is a perfectly wobbly semi-cooked ~Tamago~ egg omg brain crying right now

Brought my sister to try Poulet at Bugis Plus, but they only opened the kitchen at 4pm (SIMI SAI) so we had to pass the time and line our growling stomachs with these shitty fries. Obviously we didn’t know it was shitty till after ordering, but wah lao maximum shittiness leh these fries! Not crispy, cheese was CURDLED (SIMI SAI?!) and not ~melted~ at all. Potato skins were semi-soggy. Those potatoes died a horrifically meaningless death lol. One minute of silence for those poor potatoes please.

YAY POULET! So excited to try it cause like you know, it’s chicken and french and chicken so ya LOL.

Lovin the decor and ~vibe~ ! Okay now on to the good stuff we all loveeeee :

Oxtail De Bourgulgnon ($15.80), which is basically just .. Oxtail stew. Duh. Reasonably good, my sister thought it was just okay but you can really taste the ~wine~ in it so I guess alcoholics (HI ZIYING) will be all over this shit lol.

Escargot De Bourgogne ($8.80) for half a dozen escargot. It arrived sizzling, I burnt my tongue because obviously i’m the smartest person on earth, but i felt it was just middling. May or may not be biased against this cause a) it had some sorta tomato-paste thing inside it, b) it was basically drenched in oil and c) i burnt my tongue on this tsk!

Burnt tongue aside, THIS yumminess made the sorry-we-open-only-at-4pm-wait worthwhile. This magical pot of Mashed Potato ($3.80) was ridiculously creamy and oh-so-buttery. Magic!!! Or cocaine. Or unicorn blood or SOMETHING LA WHAT IS IN THIS seriously it’s like crack. Toooo good. You’ll get pretty jelat after a while, but it’s the omg-so-full-but-i-can’t-waste-a-drop-of-this kind of full, so you’ll still want to lick the pot clean even though you might possibly explode. You know what I mean? Okay maybe not, perhaps this only applies to gluttons lol. I may or may not need therapy.

Poulet Roti Half ($15.80), which is half a magical roasted chicken. I’ve been reading reviews of how fucking fabulous this was, so perhaps my expectations were far too high. But it’s still pretty good. The meat is soft, and the creamy sauce comes dotted with a few chunks of mushroom. I’d come back here for this and the mashed potatoes again. People have been exclaiming over the awesomely-crispy skin, but mine was just normal. Nothing to shout about, but still pretty damned moreish.

The total bill was about $57 for 2 mains, 2 sides and a Lemonade (sour max lol I didn’t like it at all), so this is a pretty affordable place. I’d go back again just to eat about 4 pots of their mashed potatoes LOL.

Okay so that sums up my last few days, I’m sorry i’ve been MIA. Been pushing out blogskins and webstore layouts like it’s my last few days on earth or some shit rofl. Ironically, I want to revamp mine some time soon. Getting sick of the gigantic photos lol.

Lunch today! 1/4 of a pack of boiled baby carrots, half a head of boiled broccoli and a little of this nommy japanese dipping sauce to go with said vegetables. The brand name is called Kinnogomadare and has a big “金” word plastered on the front (Cold Storage / NTUC carries it). It’s some sorta peanut + sesame concoction, really quite shiok! Oh and 6 sticks of Tori Q ( Chicken, chicken balls, pork with asaparagus). Meat + veg spam, so you’ll find no carbs here (i think) lol.

This is actually quite a lot of food, so that’s how I keep full. Please try to stop asking me about my diet already okay lol I’ve answered like 1000000000 times, so I hope this gives y’all a good idea of what I consume.

Okay that is all, another client meeting at 7pm today and hopefully the completion of a new site before that.

A few days ago, my car starting making fucking weird poot-poot-poot noises and it turns out something inside burst or exploded or ripped or something. I wouldn’t know what and I don’t really care because I have a vagina and knowing car parts is not in-built into my system. Would be a different story if I had a penis, but I digress.

Got dragged along to pick up the car which I deemed to be a tiresome chore but I wound up discovering all these awesomely adorable vintage cars! So freakin’ cute right? They were filthy as fuck, don’t get me wrong, but cute nevertheless. I’d have taken more shots but my sister was giving me what-the-fuck-are-you-doing-i-want-to-get-out-of-here-now vibe so bo pian T_T. I’ll make J take me here soon. I think I saw one of those buggy thingies, hope I can get a good shot of that next time!

On a side note, internet is down. Can you fucking believe it? I’ve a deadline for 2 sites looming over my head like a cloud of acid and the internet chose TODAY of all days to commit suicide. Fuck you very much, Singtel. Stuck at my boyfriend’s house leeching his seriously shitty internet but shitty internet is better than no internet at all so LLSUCKTHUMB lor gg balls.

Okay back to freelance. I’m completely booked for this week and half of the next, I think my brain might be swelling from staring at too much coding. Expendables 2 this Saturday, I can’t fucking wait! Going to meet Daniel’s new gf MUAHAHAHAHAHA SO MUCH TROLLING TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME! Okay that is all, the torture that is coding beckons. The playmats I ordered from Toll & Toad (it’s an ebay shop) arrived! Fucking chio please super love them! Playmats are like .. giant mouse pads (the rectangular thing below my laptop). Usually only used by gamers la (YES DAVID I’M A GAMER, GET OVER IT ROFL). Mad love it! Oh and anyway, this is the Ikea table that I hand assembled. Once I pack my stupid cupboard, I’ll be tossing said stupid cupboard out to make space for a proper sofa bed and hopefully I’ll be able to find somewhere to place my table so that it won’t take be so fucking obtrusive tsk. Lamp’s from Ikea as well ! I think I’m progressively becoming blind or some shit lol no lamp = massive headache and eye strain tsk. Need to get glasses T_T

Wild Honey with my sister. Shitty service but the food’s still good. Lighting was crap so I couldn’t even get a good picture. Too pissed to continue taking pics lol. Service at the door sucked sweaty balls please. Had to wait 40 mins for a table for 2, so we left our number and went to shop a little to pass the time. Someone called me and said our table was ready and I told her we’d be there in 10 minutes so she agreed to hold the table. WE GOT THERE WITHIN THE STIPULATED 10 MINS AND SHE’D ALREADY GIVEN OUR TABLE AWAY. Fuck you very much k nb

Eyeball Ring ($5) from a booth at the Scape Flea market and this stretchy bracelet’s from Accessorize ($16). I regret buying the bracelet though; within 5 minutes of putting it on, it’d had ripped out like 2 fucking wrists hairs tsk damn pain la nnb

Clutch from Mphosis (Takashimaya Branch). On sale for about $18.90 or some shit but I fucking love it!!! Usually I have a love/hate relationship with clutches. They’re fucking adorable but they’re also a fucking hassle to bring out. Not this fucking clutch! It’s faux leather I think, but the 2 awesome things about this clutch is that the material is stiff (so it doesn’t keep flopping over like a paraplegic rabbit) and it has a little hand strap that makes carrying it FUCKING EASY and effortless! Cannot explain enough how much I love this clutch. It’s all black and therefore easy to match. When I have time I’ll probably find some way to stud it or something. Will take a picture of how it’s held soon so y’all won’t keep thinking i’m siao for waxing lyrical about a stupid clutch lol.

I caved in and had cereal today lol. It’s one of the breakfast foods that I miss the most T_T. I bought the small little packets so as to limit the carb intake, but I do feel a little guilty about it rofl. Haven’t really been sticking to my diet completely, can feel myself chubby-fying a little bit again lol i’d better go run or some shit man.

AIYA okay I’ve been going mad for the last 1.5 weeks okay. Fucking family shit and freelance shit and parcels and shit urgh i basically have been busy giving birth to my gigantic rage baby for the last 8 days HAHAHA god I’m so gross. But still, I hope you get what I mean. The stupid questions that people ask; the irresponsible things that people do – they’re all starting to get to me. I usually fluctuate between being happy and extremely pissed, but for this past fucking week my happiness meter has basically been hiding in someone’s ass or something because I’ve just been so fucking pissed I could just fucking die tsk

On a side note, FUCKING FUCKBALLS pls the fucking lift it’s being constructed LITERALLY OUTSIDE MY FUCKING WINDOW. I was up til 4 fucking a.m coding my ass off and was rudely roused from my death sleep AT 9 FUCKING A.M IN THE FUCKING MORNING BY THIS FUCKING ATROCIOUS SOUND :

Calamari. Nothing special, but the dip it came in was one of the best things we ate here. Not that that’s saying much.

Famous chicken wings ! Which .. tasted like the Har Cheong Gai (prawn paste chicken) at the Zhichar place behind my house. No, the zhichar place has better wings than this. Disappointing.

Mini Duck Burgers. Damn disappointing please. I was frankly damn offended that they didn’t even bother toasting the bread lol. For someone on a low carb diet, I’ve to make sure the carbs I eat are actually worth the consumption right?! This was just .. meh.

Lamb Patties for my bf, that were .. also meh. Gamey.

Aiya okay I had a very disappointing day (foodwise) okay tsk !!! Brought my bf to Lots Gourmet cause Hungrygowhere.com said they opened at 11am but when I go there, the sign said THEY WERE CLOSED ON MONDAYS.

THANKS A LOT AH, HUNGRYGOWHERE! Nabei so just googled for somewhere near the godforsaken area where we were and Bark Cafe came up (76% positive review on hungrygowhere.com) which was damn disappointing. $75+ for 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 drinks. I really wouldn’t have minded if the food was good but it was just aosidfjaosdifj I can’t even zz.

It’s a little on the ~ulu~ side, so I’d recommend you drive lol.

My siblings are fucking trolls tsk. My brother is a grade A retard lol. Had Erdinger (happy hour, $18 for 2) and Milkshakes (oreo and vanilla – $6 each – which weren’t bad).

Spiced Calamari ($9.50) – good stuff! Comes with a yummy dip; went really well with fries too!

Lamb Wrap ($14.00) comes sliced in half with a side of salad. Very hearty and the flavours were really interesting! Stuffed with rocket (i think) so it has this very peppery tinge to it. Nice and really filling.

Meatball Spaghetti ($15.00) ! The meatballs were freakin’ huge pls?! Two of them put together was actually bigger than someone’s filet mignon (KUAKUAKUA cause the filet mignon was the priciest thing on the menu -$28 )! Pasta was perfectly al dente. Good stuff!

Beef Burger ($15.00) for my brother. THIS was the bomb seriously. The patty was DAMN JUICY; yumminess literally dripped down my chin with each bite please. Damn shiok; it was even better than Fatboy’s Fat Bastard! Fries that came with it were really crisp too ! Reminded me of the old Super Dog fries. Super Dog used to have the ULTIMATE fries! Thick, crisp and hot and just damn freakin’ delicious. Now they’ve been swapped out for some crappy shoe-string nonsense lol I don’t even bother going to Super Dog anymore T_T. Okay I shall stop digressing now. SO ANYWAY, this burger is really damn good! Huge-ass portion too; it’s a definite must-try !

Beef Stew ($18.00) for me (you can opt for rice or Ciabatta), i went for the ciabatta cause got less carbs and I’m a vainpot lol. Ciabatta was the bomb, btw. Damn freakin’ crisp and went fabulously with the beef stew. The stew itself was a little bit bland in my opinion, but still quite yummy. Plus points for the super tender chunks of carrots, but took some points away cause of the turgid potatos.

Gluttons R Us ! 4 mains+ 1 side + 2 beers + 2 milkshakes + 2 Ciders + 10% service charge = $138.05 in total.

I’d go back there again for their Calamari, Lamb wrap and Beef Burgers ! Go early or call ahead cause when we reached (around 6pm-ish), we could only get a table on the outside which was a little dark (to my dismay, cause it meant darker pictures which means more photoshop when I get home T_T)! Cozy place with a very relaxed vibe. Try it out when you have the time (: !
